Privacy Policy

In short: your chats never leave your browser. We don't collect, store, sell or share your chats or your personal data. We have no analytics and no servers that receive your content.
Who we are
“AI Chat Exporter: ChatGPT, Claude & Gemini” (“the extension”) is a browser extension made by CarryAll (“we”, “us”). Contact: siddheshthapa02@gmail.com.
What the extension does with your chats
- When you click Export, the extension reads that chat from the AI website you're signed in to (chatgpt.com, claude.ai or gemini.google.com), using your existing browser session. It does not ask for, see or store your password.
- It builds the file (PDF, Word, Markdown, Text or JSON) inside your browser and saves it to your computer, or copies it to your clipboard if you choose “Copy”.
- No chat content, file or prompt is ever sent to us or to any third party.
- It reads chats only when you ask it to. It never sends messages or prompts on your behalf.
ChatGPT's access token
chatgpt.com only shows a chat's data to its own page when the request carries a short-lived access token. When you click Export on chatgpt.com, the extension asks chatgpt.com for this token, keeps it in memory for that one export, and sends it only back to chatgpt.com to read the chat you chose. It is never saved, logged or sent anywhere else. chatgpt.com returns longer-lived login information in the same reply; the extension does not read or keep it. On claude.ai no token is needed: your normal browser session is enough.
Gemini's page token
gemini.google.com only answers its chat-data request when it carries the page's own security token. When you click Export on gemini.google.com, the extension reads this token from the open Gemini page, keeps it in memory for that one export, and sends it only back to gemini.google.com to read the chat you chose (one request per 10 messages, at least a second apart). It is never saved, logged or sent anywhere else.
What is stored on your computer
- Your choices in the export window (for example your preferred format) are saved in your browser's extension storage so they're remembered next time. They never leave your computer.
- A count of your successful exports, used only to ask you once — and remind you once — whether you'd like to rate the extension on the Chrome Web Store. It never leaves your computer.
- When Pro is available: your licence key and its status are stored in the same place.
The only network request that isn't to the AI website
When Pro is available, the extension checks your licence key with the licence service of our payment provider, Dodo Payments. Only the licence key (and a device label used to count activations) is sent — never your chats. If you use the free version, this check never happens.
Payments
Purchases are processed by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record. Dodo Payments collects the details needed to take payment, calculate tax and send your receipt and licence key (such as your name, email address, billing country and card details). We don't receive your card details. Dodo Payments handles this data under its own privacy policy, available on dodopayments.com. We receive order information from Dodo Payments (such as your email address, the plan you bought and the order ID) so we can support you and handle refunds.
What we don't do
- No analytics, tracking pixels, advertising or fingerprinting.
- No selling, renting or sharing of personal data.
- No use of your data for anything other than the export you asked for.
- No use or transfer of your data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
Permissions the extension asks for
- Access to chatgpt.com, claude.ai and gemini.google.com: to read the chat you choose to export and to show the Export button on those pages only.
- Storage: to remember your export settings and the export count for the rating question (and, with Pro, your licence).
- Scripting: to load the export tools only when you click Export, which keeps the AI website fast.
Emails you send us
If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply and to help you. We keep the conversation only as long as needed to support you.
Limited Use
Our use of information received from your browser adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information the extension handles is used only to make the export you ask for.
Children
The extension is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
Your rights
Because we don't hold your chats or tracking data, there is usually nothing of yours for us to access, correct or delete. For purchase data, email us and we'll help, together with Dodo Payments where needed. Removing the extension deletes everything it stored in your browser.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the extension's update notes.
